| The Ford Country
Squire is shown in Raven Black. |
|
Here's America's most distinguished station
wagon. The new 8-passenger four-door Country Squire is traditional in decor
and the most modern in styling and convenience. Mahogany-grain-finish steel
panels framed with wood-grained, glass-fibre moldings add distinction to its
long, low-swept design, inspired by the leadership lines of the new
Thunderbird. |

"Quick Change" Luxury-Lounge Interiors: In
a matter of minutes, you can make room for all your gear simply by removing
the back seat and folding the center seat flush with the floor. |
 |
Both
the Country Squire and its "space twin" the 8-passenger Country Sedan offer
you a choice of four beautiful, high-style interiors. For the ultimate in
station wagon style, choose the optional pleated vinyl interior shown here. |
| The new
8-passenger Country Sedan and Country Squire offer five interior choices:
red and white, blue and white, or green woven-plastic-and-vinyl; Western
brown all-vinyl interior; or optional pleated white with red vinyl shown
above. The woven fiber headlinings harmonize with
interiors. Gabardine-finish vinyl in white, green, or brown is used for seat
cushions and back bolsters, back and cushion facings, upper sections in
backs of front seat backs, and skivver-grain vinyl in bright-metal framed
insert sections of doors and quarter panels. The main seat upholstery is in
red and gold, blue and silver, green and silver woven plastic or Western
brown vinyl. The floor covering is criss-cross pattern black rubber in
passenger areas; red, blue, green, or brown ribbed linoleum in cargo areas.
