To keep pace with the growing popularity of station wagons among American
families, the Mercury line has been expanded to provide six Station
Wagon models; twice the number offered previously.
There are three in the lower-priced Commuter class: a 2-door,
6-passenger model; a 4-door 6-passenger model; and a 4-door 9-passenger
model.
The Voyager class offers a 2-door 6-passenger wagon and a 4-door,
9-passenger model. The sixth wagon is the Colony Park, (shown here) an
elegant 4-door model with a capacity of 9 passengers.
All models incorporate pillarless hardtop design affording unobstructed
vision. The lift gate has been eliminated since the rear window retracts
into the tail gate. |
