| The new Ford Station Wagon
series has a 116-wheelbase and a 204-inch overall length. Two models - a
four-door Country Sedan and the Country Squire - have a capacity of nine
passengers. The Ranch Wagon and the Del Rio Ranch Wagon are two-door, six
passenger models. The fifth model in the series is the four-door,
six-passenger Country Sedan.
The 1957 station wagons have new lift and tail gates which swing open
at the touch of a finger. The lift gate also has a wrap-around design
which affords a wider loading area. Like all new Ford models, the station
wagons have hoods hinged at the front, similar to the Thunderbird, for
greater safety. |
