and Fairlane 500 series have a wheelbase of 118 inches and
an overall length of 208 inches. The Custom and Custom
300 series have a 116-wheel base and a 202-inch overall length.
The engines for the 1957
line include the 144-horsepower Mileage Maker Six, the 190-horsepower Ford
V-8, the 212-horsepower Thunderbird V-8 and the 245-horsepower Thunderbird
Special V-8. All of these engines may be coupled with Conventional Drive,
Overdrive, or Fordomatic transmission. |
