Florida Living - Country Squire style!

Above: John Ferlita is a champion outboard racer, owns three boats. Of Country Squire's power, he says: "That T-bird 352 V-8 engine tows my big cruiser like it wasn't there."

John and Aida Ferlita are Florida rarities - Native Floridians.  They were born in Tampa, live there with daughters Geraldine, 16, and Patricia, 10, and have absolutely no plans to move.

John is a beverage distributor for the Florida west coast. Aida is a member of the Tampa Garden Club and several women's clubs. "Gerry" sings with a high school dance band ("The Swinging Satins") and "Pete" is an enthusiastic water skier.

Country Squire "a pleasure to drive"

"John drives the car on weekends, and whenever we take a trip, but it really belongs to me," explains Mrs. Ferlita. She averages 340 miles a week in her Country Squire, says: "Since the car can carry so many children, I've become a semi-official school chaufeur. Next week, I'm taking Pete's class to the museum in Sarasota." She continues: "Yes, it's a big car, but it handles beautifully. The air conditioning and power equipment make it a pleasure to drive."

"Why a Country Squire? Well, it was time for a new car. I saw the Country Squire...loved it...and that's all there was to it."
