LINCOLN CONTINENTAL - a tradition of classic design.
Classic design is a Lincoln Continental tradition.
The dignified continuity of design, engineering excellence and quality craftsmanship that have made Lincoln Continental America's most distinguished automobile have been preserved for 1969. The Continental coupe and sedan are powered by a strong, quiet 460-cubic-inch V-8 which generates 365 horsepower. Interiors are of the finest fabrics and leathers.

One glance tells you the Continental Mark III is the most authoritatively styled, decisively individual motor car of this generation. It is as beautiful on the inside as it is outside, dominated by rich, pliable upholstery and accented by East Indian Rosewood or English Oak paneling and appliqué. The 365-horsepower engine and automatic transmission are standard, as are many other luxury items.

The Continental Mark III is a superb new dimension in fine car motoring.
The Continental luggage compartment is the largest in the luxury-car field. It has 18 cubic feet of usable storage space and measures 67 inches across the trunk opening. Full carpeting for the luggage compartment is standard; a remote control deck-lid release is available as an option. Also optional is a twelve-piece, Marvelon luggage set created by Guild Masters exclusively for Continental.
