TORINO/FAIRLANE - performance-proved on road and track
Smart and sassy Torino two-door GT hardtop.
Torino and Fairlane, which captured the hearts of intermediate car buyers and performance enthusiasts in 1968, are favorites to be elected peoples' choice again this year. These cars earned this great popularity among young-at-heart buyers because they are trim  in size, richly appointed, attractively styled, appealingly priced, and built to perform.

Included in the stunning six-model Torino and Torino GT lineups are a two-door hardtop, two-door SportsRoof and convertible, all GT-equipped, and a four-door sedan, two-door hardtop with formal roof and the fashionable Squire station wagon. Get-up-and-go engines for GT models are headed by the powerful, standard 302-cubic-inch V-8. The Torino/Fairlane engine lineup stretches from the standard 250-cubic inch Six to the hot-performing 428-cubic inch Ram Air Cobra Jet. For the more conservative, the Fairlane line offers eight models - five in the Fairlane 500 series and three in the Fairlane series.

Newest addition to the all-star cast for 1969 is the Cobra, a rough, tough and ready-for-action "super car". Under the hood of this impressive machine, available in formal or SportsRoof two-door hardtops, is a 428-cubic-inch, 4-barrel V-8. Other standard items are a 4-speed, all-synchronized manual transmission with floor shift (automatic optional), competition suspension, widetread belted tires, exposed headlock pins, and special Cobra identification.

This is the Torino 4-door sedan with optional vinyl roof.
Sleek SportsRoof Cobra boasts a 428-cubic-inch V-8. All-vinyl interior is standard on the Torino Squire wagon.
Clean, youthful lines identify the Fairlane 500 convertible.
