The Better Idea Cars for 1970
Cortina

A Better Idea in an Imported Vehicle

The appeal of Great Britain's best seller - the Cortina - is widened through the addition of low-priced two- and four-door sedans, which join the Deluxe and GT models to complete the line.

The rugged Deluxe Sedan can pull a load equal to two-thirds of this durable car's overall weight. Cortina bodies are of tight, unitized design, with heavy-gauge steel side channel rails and sturdy cross members on the underside. The result: a firm, comfortable, quiet ride, even over rough roads.

Economy is Cortina's hallmark. The 67-horsepower engine delivers up to 25 miles or more a gallon, running on regular fuel.

Comfort and convenience are built into the Cortina. Owners will especially favor the standard Aeroflow ventilation system, offered on all seven models, which changes air in the passenger compartment once every 23 seconds.
