| The 1970 Ford Maverick, introduced in
April (1969), offers a new concept in economical and convenient
transportation.
Available only as a 2-door sedan, Maverick is nearly nine inches wider
than most imported compacts and there is ample hip and leg room. Maverick
has a 103-inch wheelbase and its overall length is 179.3 inches.
Maverick's power is provided by an economical 170-cubic inch Six engine
or the optional 200-cubic inch Six. Manual three-speed transmission is
standard while SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic is optional. |
