1960 Ford Thunderbird Convertible Top Operation In 3 Steps

From the Ford Buyer's Digest of New Car Facts for 1960:

"From its disappearing top to its Diamond Lustre Finish, to its vinyl- or leather-clad contoured seats, here is a car totally unlike any other car on the road."

Note that in the text appearing with the picture above, reference is made to "...a brand new T-bird exclusive." This is because for 1960, the top operation was controlled by a single switch on the instrument panel, unlike 1958 and 1959 models which required actuation of a top control switch inside the trunk in addition to the instrument panel control switch for the deck lid.
