| O'Hara Motors was a fixture for over 60
years in downtown Camillus, New York (population 1,028). In
the mid-60s it became Ed Murphy Ford. This dealership had a significant
impact on the life of the author of this web site. He remembers well
seeing an LTD for the first time (September, 1964) in the 1-car showroom,
and "checking inventory" in the lot which was on the other side of South
Street. The dealership building is now a environmental technology business
and on the new car inventory lot a veterinary hospital has been erected.
A sampling of Ford dealer price books. These books contained many
pages. In addition to all of the passenger car prices, they contained
detailed information on the Company's truck lines. In 1962, over 600
different trucks were offered. |
