Here is Bob
and Peggy Diegan's 1956 Ford F-600 Dump Truck. It was specially ordered by
the United States Army in 1956. It has a 223-cubic inch 6-cylinder
engine, and heavy duty springs, frame, and running
gear. It has just 43,000 original miles. Bob says that he found the
original U.S. Army purchase order in the truck, however due to being
exposed to the elements it disintegrated moments after he was able to read
it. This beautiful Ford is in daily use as a work truck at their home in
Oregon.
