Jim Howlett says: I bought this car in 1989 for my daughter when she was on Maui for the
summer. It had 44,000 miles and I paid $1300 for it. The color is Ford
Medium Blue and White, and has a white interior. It used to have the
200-cubic inch 6, and although I always liked the car, I never liked the 6.
It had so many vacuum hoses and so little power, that I swapped a 302 from a
1978 Fairmont station wagon...it was almost a bolt-in, and also swapped in a
1989 Mustang rear end. The engine has headers, a Crane cam, Windsor Jr.
heads, roller rockers, and a Holley 600. Now it is dependable and has a
little more go-power! |
