Jim Kulis

Jim Kulis says: Mustang Sally is a 1965 Vintage Burgundy Fastback, with a 289 A-code engine that has never been disassembled; it was merely removed, detailed and reinstalled. The engine fires up instantly and purrs like a kitten, the transmission and differential were removed and inspected but no rebuilding was necessary. The car went under a complete rotisserie restoration; any item that was restorable was restored not replaced. The cost of doing it this way is extremely higher but the results give the vehicle that original look.

She was born on October 7, 1965 which happens to be my sister's birthday, she is one of the first fastbacks to roll off the assembly line. The early fastbacks are starting to disappear, plus if you add in the fact that more and more people are doing modifications to the early fastbacks, soon all of the originals will disappear. The originality of Mustang Sally is absolutely phenomenal, right down to the original headlights that have FoMoCo embossed into the glass. She truly is "The Finest 1965 Fastback in the World
