It's the 1958 Edsel Bermuda.
The Edsel was introduced to the world on September 4, 1957. Only 2,235
families were lucky enough to own one of these beauties. The standard
engine was the 361 cubic inch V-8 that developed 303 horsepower. The valve
covers said "E-400" which designated the torque. The base price of a 1958
Bermuda was $3,155. Remarkable in appearance in 1957, and even more so in
2003, this Edsel station wagon is part of the
Ford Legacy. |
LOVEfords thanks Randy Portwood for his help with Bermuda
production figures (1,456 were six-passenger models and 779 were
nine-passenger models).
