My name
is John Rotella. I started
LOVEfords on April 11, 2000. The original idea consisted of nothing more
than a e-mail list amongst a half-dozen-or-so friends with a common
interest in Fords, Mercurys, Edsels, and Lincolns. Through the generosity
of others, LOVEfords has developed into this web site containing thousands
of pictures and scores of information files. LOVEfords is an outpouring of
my own personal devotion to the cars and trucks that Henry built - it is
my gift to the hobby, and as long as there are Ford lovers there will be
LOVEfords. The e-mail list is still there, with members on every
continent and all 50 States; we welcome your participation as a way of
expressing yourself about the world's greatest hobby.
Join us, won't you?

"I've been lucky
enough to own many interesting and fun Ford-built cars - including a
1959 Thunderbird (or two), a 1966 Mustang, several Lincolns, a
Comet, a Crown Vic, some trucks, and a couple of Big Birds, among
others. But none have brought more kind comments or driving pleasure
than my 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 4-door sedan. It's got a peppy 289 V-8
that delivers sparkling performance with great mileage. There's room
for six with style, and nothing says 'FORD' more than a Galaxie
500!"

J.R. says: "I love this
"pure Ford" Ford! It's the kind of car that millions of Americans drove to
work and drove to play. It's recognized instantly as the kind of car 'my
dad had', 'I learned to drive on', or that 'were around every corner'.
Galaxie 500 - it is the Model T of the 1960s, and it is the
predecessor of the great cars yet to come from Dearborn and, ultimately,
into our hearts. That's why
Valentine's Day
is the official LOVEfords
Holiday. Join our group and tell us
about the Ford-built car or truck that you love."
