The Things We Love Best

Ford enthusiasts around the world, you will want to know about The Universal Car – a cover of which is pictured below. This wonderful publication is the work of Michael MacSems, founder of The International Ford History Project.

The Universal Car is published “…on an occasional basis not to exceed four issues per year.” It’s filled with interesting articles about the things we love best and the people that help us find our way in the Ford World of  2007. This was included in the May 2006 issue:

Unusual Australian Fords

The Benson Ford Research Center

Most Significant American Fords, Part 3

Ford in Rhodesia – 1961, Part 1

The Whole Ford Catalog, Part 7

Dagenham Archives Land in Dearborn

In the Footsteps of the Flathead

Book Reviews and Magazine Mentions

Fords in Scale, Part 5

There’s also a introductory article and classified ads as well as vintage Ford advertising throughout. The entire back cover showed a Ford advertisement in Spanish from 1955…”Ford – por todo el mundo”. You just won’t find this kind of diversity anywhere else, and the best part is the price, only $12 for four issues.

LOVEfords encourages you to subscribe to The Universal Car – indeed, the IFHP is already an active supporter of this web site and its products. You will not be disappointed and you will get your money’s worth – each issue is a “keeper”.
