Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pie shell, unbaked
Directions
1. Cream butter and sugar together; add mashed potatoes and eggs
(slightly beaten).
2. Mix well and combine with syrup, milk, salt, and vanilla.
3. Turn mixture into pan lined with pie crust.
4. Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) for 10 minutes.
5. Reduce heat and continue to bake in moderate oven (325 degrees) for
35-45 minutes longer.
