Hotel and Steakhouse
This hotel, at 205 North 4th
Street in Bismarck, North Dakota, was once a stagecoach stop across the
Missouri River from General Custer's cavalry post. The Steakhouse is open
for dinner daily except Sunday. Overnight accommodations are also
available. |
Ingredients:
- 5 pounds tenderloin
tips, 1-inch cubes
- 5 cups oil
- 1/4 cup dry Burgundy
- 2 tablespoons apple
cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon each: white
pepper, garlic powder, onion juice
- 2 tablespoons Hickory
Smoke
Directions:
1. Mix marinade ingredients
in stone crock or stainless steel kettle. Add meat cubes and marinate,
refrigerated, for 2 days.
2. Place meat cubes on
steel skewers and broil.
Makes 10 portions. Serve
broiled meat on a bed of wild rice. |
