Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks, beaten and slightly sweetened
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon gelatin
- 1 pint cream, whipped
- 1 # 2 1/2 can pineapple chunks
- 1 #2 1/2 can white cherries, seeded and halved
- 3/4 pound marshmallows, cut (or mini-marshmallows)
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 pound chopped blanched almonds
Directions
1. Mix beaten egg yolks with milk and scald in double boiler.
2. Soak gelatin in water to moisten and add to mixture.
3. Fold in whipped cream and remaining ingredients.
4. Let stand 24 hours in refrigerator.
5. Garnish with lettuce. Serves 20.
